Waiting 24 hours is not problem or at least it shouldn't be the amount of water wouldn't be more then 5 gallons at worst i would imagine.

Agree with above add another row. I had to add height to my bog wall, about 4 inches over time.

I added another row this morning.....in addition to emergency bog piping surgery. That was fun. Had a dribble coming out of the union joint so as I tried to tighten it more the whole flex pvc pipe that dropped down into the bog came loose from the pipes on the bottom. That sucked. I had to dig and drain the bog and added a solid pvc pipe instead of the flex. But, we’re back up and running and it’s only 9:15 am!

Thanks for all the advice and help. I no longer have pea soup. Now it’s chocolate soup! I know it will clear up. I already like the looks of it better than the old biofalls. Still need to hide some liner in the falls and obviously have a ton of liner to hide in the bog. But I’m pooped. Another day!

Now there's a good looking bog that should have a trouble free life.. Though i would cut the clean out tube just below the gravel it's in a great spot it won't take long to find it down the road when you do want to use it just scrape back some of the stone .

I’m gonna chronicle for a couple weeks how the bog affects my water. This pic is the day following installation, Sunday. Pretty green and cloudy from all the gravel.

Here is Monday. Not a great pic, but at least shows some water. Was taking a video of that frog singing.

And here is this morning. Still kinda cloudy/dirty water, but I’d say noticeably less green. Maybe I’m just wishful....the pond is really about 4-5 inches fuller than usual and before the rains and bog, the flat rock on the shelf was barely visible.
