I thought the Heron ate most of my frogs so wrong. This is the 1000 pond. Guess how many , Btw a lot!

Yesterday Mr Snake(s) came to visit, they love frogs. I when out to clean the pump filters and there was the snake that keeps the frog population in check.

My koi kill frogs and I get the terrible task of pulling the remains out of the pond . Seems they suck the insides out and leave me the rest to scoop out . I catch frogs and take them to local farm ponds that want frogs and seem to love when I show up with buckets of them for them . I even bring them tadpoles when I can net them

o 12 or 13 depending on if one I’d really a frog or not.. either way I’m very jealous! But happy too! Lol

I miss typed I thought the darn snakes ate the frogs. I caught 22 snakes last year, all water snakes. They did eat over 200 fish, I know because I bought 255 fish, back to the level I had before I bought any.

And we had no frogs hanging around, saw the snake snacking on them.

sure glad i have only seen 1 snake this year and don't want a repeat of my snake attack again. Geeze addy i guess frogs are better than snakes .My neighbor had to kill a water moccasin that kept coming under his carport . His house has a stream right behind it and I guess it was living there but the warm cement under the carport was too inviting

I like snakes just not 22 northern water snakes eating the fish.
