Damn Silver Dollars!

I know I know. Plants in a tank with dollars. Has anyone ever had luck? I tried to sneak some grasses I had left over from planting another tank last night. I hid them in corners and around some structure. Went into the fishroom this morning and everything is floating and chewed up. Funny. They chowed!

Ouch! Never had much luck with any fish whose diet is primarily vegetables. Funny, they are related to the Piranha. Some hobbyists claim to have been successful with Anubias. I've never shared their success.

Short of keeping herbivores in tanks with out plants they can eat, or putting up nets around plants, I’ve nothing to add!
