that Gin Rin is not pronounced as it looks (GIN RIN) but rather, as GEEN DEEN? Sure fooled me, even if I do understand it's Japanese! Still! DEEN? Why not just spell it phonetically then and lose the 'r' translation?

Wow! I guess I have been pronouncing it wrong for, well, the few months that I even knew that type of koi existed.

I've heard it pronounced in a couple of different ways but not like that...I wonder if the spelling should be different then?
