Disappearing power plant

I mentioned ,In one of my posts ,about the largest coal burning power plant ,1 1/2 miles in frt. of my house disappearing ,hard to believe ,so I just took some pix!

Isn't amazing how fog can make the landscape even prettier .Great pics shame it was not for good .

rain really .I know I can see rain coming over the mountains here from miles away and then when i smell it i know it is close .

That's so weird! Where we used to live (being in a city centre) we had a good view of the tallest building there, and when it was foggy it just used to disappear but you could still see the smaller buildings in front of it!

I don,t count fog,Thats rain coming from the south,thankfully a little thunder but no lightning,1/2" so far we really needed it! my golf course was getting hard to stick a tee into the ground!

Fun to watch it disappear! Sorry it came back tho :sad: Glad you got the rain and please keep it cuz I don't want it anytime soon, thank you very much B)

Well If you got any spare we could use it here some parts are still in drought condition ,That PLT.is, over 1/4 mile wide stacks over 1000' tall new scrubbers (anti polution) largest fiberglass structures in the world,heard spend over 600 hundred million anti polution upgrades.

Nothing for ya right now but would sure be glad to send ya the first batch of it and the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and so on through the whole fall and Winter, Spring and part of next Summer :razz:
Fiberglass eh? Well just hope it doesn't fail being that close to you and all! Remember the Titanic?

The scrubber stacks are the ones with the white tops ,in pix 1 just above the tree tops are tubes connecting to the scrubbers ,you could drive two cars side by side thru them ,hugh .we watched as the built them they just grew taller and taller each day,they have one person thats job is to change the strobe lite bulbs on the stacks ,now thats getting up in the world !
