Hi everyone! I have a potted grass in my pond that is very top heavy, the roots have taken over the pots on the outside ( came that way) But is has grown so much that any small breeze knocks it over. Can I take it out and divide it like I would regular potted plants? and then repot in kitty litter ?

Thanks

Yup! Plants are generally shipped and sold in the smallest pot possible; this saves on soil and shipping, (more plants in one container). I always recommend re-potting in 6" or larger pots to give the plants room to grow and to provide more "ballast' to keep the plants upright. In windy locations or with taller-growing plants you will have to use larger pots or spend more time retrieving plants from the bottom of the pond!
