Hi all,
I am looking at building a wooden water feature in my garden (UK) what would be the best choice of woods to use as it will be constantly getting wet, or should it be treated, if so what with, initially i am thinking or green oak sleepers, any thoughts on wood type or construction of something like this, mainly the drip pipe?

Drip pipe is easiest pvc or copper with small holes drilled in it .Pvc would be easiest because you can glue it .With the wood not sure what you have there .I think what ever wood you get that is safe around humans and pets may rot over time .I have seen these built on you tube . I know some use epi wood or some call it iron wood and it is extremely hard but very expensive .I have seen these made of bamboo also

I was thinking cypress or cedar but was wondering about the contamination to the water if you have pets that may drink from it .I read epi wood is non toxic
