Does this kind of pectoral fin shape have a name?

I have one goldfish with fins like this. It reminds me of some butterfly koi I have seen.

I call them "fancy". We have a few goldfish like this, too. They came from the same parents as the rest of the plain old goldfish, so no clue what they might actually be called.

glad to see you escaped the twisters yesterday looked pretty nasty out there but then again you folks out there are more use to them than we are.

Comets have longer tails but the inside of the tail is more of a V shape and not as flowing.

This fish came with a batch my mom got off of Craigslist. A mix of long tailed orange, white, and some short tails and red and white too.

Thanks - missed us completely. We had high winds and torrential rainfall, but no hail or tornado. The worst of it hit west of us and traveled northeast. We've only had one really close call in all the years we've lived here. What they call a microburst with straight line winds passed right through our subdivision maybe 25 years ago. You could literally follow the path of it from where it first hit about a block west of us to Lake Michigan 15 miles away.

Spring weather can be exciting in the midwest.
