Down south you cant control it
It would spread under ground all winter here if i still had some

Should I leave it in the waterfall during the winter or move it to the bottom of the pond where the water lilies and grasses are?

I had mine in a shallow stream ponds ago and it got out into the dirt around the pond and took off
I never tried to over winter any in the pond
