i am not used to this!! this much greenery before "Easter" (Ressurection Sunday as it should be named.) i actually cut the grass yesterday! wow!! maybe there is something to this "Global Warming" thing... lol... tulips are up and bright with color. front tree is alive and full with "pink snow" buds. pond irises are jetting up fast, like 10" in 3 or 4 days. sweetflag and irises are sprouting all over in my border rocks. i have this plant that i dont know where it came from, might be a weed. but it was growing in my waterfall last year now its starting up all over the waterfall mound and in ,my pond border rocks. anyone know what it is? ive posted a couple pics of it.(pics 5&6) either way i like it so it will stay in fact i'm gonns snip off shoots of it and spread it around the rocks more, it stayed green all winter.

Everything looks great!! Hubby mowed the lawn here a few days ago and I'm seeing signs of growth everywhere as well! Have you moved your Koi, yet?

yep spring is here and mowed my lawn 2 times already but avoided the spots where I reseeded .Makes me think before early fall the plants are going to exhausted from all the growth so may need to fertilize more .

Watercress not hardy in zone 5B??? news to me! It grows in the ditches around here and stays green all winter.

I dont think it looks like the watercress i had. but theres different types i guess. i bought what i had at the grocery store. it had the roots still on it. i divided it up and push the stems thru the mesh on the top of my planter rings for floating plants. IDK maybe it is....actually i just looked at pics of what i had and maybe it is...well whatever it is, its staying!!
as far as the weather...its just shy of 70* now, but down in the 30s tonight and in the 40s til wednesday...when we'll see 50s again...this sucks, after seeing 80* temps.... we'll probably have snow on Easter ....wouldnt be the first time!! lol

Koiguy looks very springy. Your tree is beautiful and love the way you have it very neatly displayed.

I had watercress in a foam floater last year. Pulled the little floater our in the fall and threw it in the pile of stuff I had trimmed in the fall. The spring pulled it out and it was still green! Even after wintering upside down in a junk pile.

Everything looks great! I love spring, it is amazing watching everything wake up from the long cold winter. :)
