Hi everyone once again, so now I’ve got my fish type sorted for my rased sleeper pond. I’m wondering if an easy pod filter will be over kill for a 1000 gallon pond? I’m no longer going to have koi. Can anyone advise so I can start making for space please.

Don’t think there is such a thing as over filtering on a pond.

I don’t know anything about the EasyPod, only what I’ve seen in product videos. You might want to check their web site to see what the specs are, or contact them directly — I’m sure they have contact info.

I have a Easypod on my 42000 litre raised pond and switched from an Oase filter pad media filter. I defo see see the Easypod cleaning up more than the previous filter and is way better for cleaning/maintaining.
As long as you have K1 media as filtration and the filter is doing it's job, can't see why it'll be overkill.
My pond stock is 6 orfes, 6 mixed goldfish and 1 koi butterfly. All do make a mess especially when feeding twice a day but I can see the bottom of my pond with this filter where before i couldn't.

Like Jhn mentioned already, over filtering is good filtering...for me anyways.
