evaporation?

how much water should i expect our pond to lose through evaporation? the temperature has been varying from 6 degrees centrigrade to 10 and iv lost around 1/2 inch in the last 3 days, had quite a bit of rainfall 2 nights ago tho

If there is a temp difference between the air and the pond, wind, sun all factor in. Just keep an eye on it. Check around for any wet areas.

I just noticed I had quite a bit of evaporation this past week with the warmer temperatures and no rain or snow. I may have to add water for the first time since fall.
I thinks you get more evaporation when your waterfall/water features are running also.
