I read somewhere in this forum where someone was using Jobes fertilizer sticks for there pond plants. So I went looking for them. I could not find the Jobes but I found Miracle-Gro Plant food spiked for indoor plants 6-12-6. Is this about the same thing?
Thanks
Bart

The tomato sticks work well also. Jobes are 6-4-4

I have used broken up tree spikes in my lilies, they love them, only problem I have had is I couldn't get them pushed into the gravel very well this year (need to divide my plants, root bound) and have noticed I am getting more algae, I am not worried about it, my filter will take care of it and the bog plants are liking the extra nutrients.
