Do any of you fertilize your marginals? I have some iris, lemon grass, rush and sweet flag. Some are bare root on the edge and some are in pots with kitty litter. They seem to be doing ok but just wondering if they would benefit from some fert.

We did our first year. I don't think we had enough "natural fertilizer" in the pond, if you get my drift. Now they start green and stay green for three seasons!

No, but I actually did fertilize my Red Stem Golden Club this year. It never did great last year so I figured it could benefit from it, and has been looking good so far!

I figured most do not. Mine just seem a little slow. I guess I'm impatient. :)
