After posting and realizing the filter system I had was pretty insufficient, and that also my UV light may have been a little under rated. I bought a 40 watt UV light that does up to 6000 gallons, which I had to modify slightly by recuding the 1 1/2 fittings down to 1" fittings (all bought from the local hardware store). I also used a trash barrel I had laying around for now and built a 3 stage filter system down through it ( I know most people pump up through I had to use what i had available money was limited) using gravel and 100% cotton never used rags before and some old towels I had laying around as well as a buncha new filter pads I had for my old filter system the white and black ones (remind me of buffer pads).

It's been 3 days with the new system setup and already my water is 50% more clear. I imagine in a few more days it will be crystal clear like it was when I set it up 3 months ago. I also recently ordered 30 dwarf water lettuce plants to put in the pond as well as some duckweed.

Im just glad I can finally enjoy my fish I cant wait to see the pleco hidden somewhere he's been elusive since I put him in (water was and has been pea soup for two + months)

Once the rest of my plants and land scape come through Ill take some more pictures of the pond its kind of a mess rigth now because of all the re routing and pump setup.
