One side of my pond is higher than the other. Obviously if I fill the pond to maximum level on the high side water drains out until natural waters leve is reached. With the way the pond is currently constructed after many searches I am not able to locate the overflow point. I know that using a drop of blue water tint placed at the high water point is suppose to enable me to locate leaks and possibly the overflow drain out location.

My question to you is will that method work or is there another more reliable method?
