Firefox just gave me a warning about an improper certificate, I had to over ride this to get to the site. It said the certificate had expired on May 17. I didn't get this warning 2 hours ago.

I added an exception. I would not be concerned. Haven't you ever forgot to pay a bill on time? Firefox is just being extra cautious considering all of the hacking and malware out there.

That's what I figured, just wanted to be sure they and everyone else knew about it and what to do.

Hmm... Me too. Usually it's something I only see in hotel internet connections sometimes. Maybe it's being hacked by Russians?

Thanks for the heads up - the SSL certificate didn't automatically renew for some reason (the thing we use for HTTPS), so I've manually renewed it while I speak to the hosting company :).

Sorry about this folks! It looks worse than it is. Your data has always been secure here, it's just that the certificate confirming that this was the case had expired. So apologies again if you had a fright, we are taking steps to make sure the certificate renews automatically as it was meant to.

    Update from Ian here: https://www.gardenpondforum.com/threads/site-not-safe-warning-in-chrome.21366/#post-341842

I'm closing this topic now so that we just have one place for discussions on this.
