They are such a happy sight! Although not as sweet as they may seem - we've seen some "humdinger" hummingbird fights! Very territorial little birds!

Awwww! We have a Cockatiel, named Cotton, and his cage is in front of a huge window to the backyard — so he can see the outside entertainment since we’re kinda boring humans..... A few years back we noticed a new “alarm call” that he was making, so would sneak up to his cage (not “sneak up to him,” but sneak up so as not to frighten whatever he was “alarming” about outside the window) and stand with him — we was getting hummer visitors to the feeders! So we positioned the feeders where he could see them better, and got a couple of hummingbird perches set up close to the window. Cotton loves it and will let us know when he has a visitor — he’s inviting US to come to the window and watch with him! I LOVE BIRDS!
