While I have been waiting for 3 weeks to get things worked out on getting the water from our dug well to my pond, "mother nature" has helped out from time to time and is doing so tonite. Well apparently someone got tired of waiting. I just went out to let the dogs out and took a look in my pond only to find more than water! Sitting on the corrugated tubing that was laying in there was a fat toad! He took quite a dive to get in there as it is ft. deep and only has about 6 inches of water in it. Getting out would be even rougher, so I took my umbrella (open) and lowered it into the pond encouraging him to jump onto it and lifter him to higher ground. Hope he learned that the pond is not quite ready for him yet. I'll have to keep my eyes out. Below is a pix. He's hard to see, but he's the brown lump on the black tubing.
