Hi, I currently feed my seven goldfish and about six babies a mixture of flakes (JBL Pro Pond Flakes) and sticks, normally rotate between both. The very strange thing is none of the fish eat the green flakes, they will attempt to then spit them out, so I end up with loads of uneaten flakes floating around, anyone else experience this?

Also thinking of a treat in the form of frozen bloodworms, trying to work out how these work, do they come in packet form and then I freeze them?

Many thanks.

My fish like watermelon as a treat. I make slices across the melon an inch or so wide so there are round pieces, and toss those in the pond. They
float, and the fish eat all the good part and leave the rind. One piece would probably be enough for your fish.

I agree that flakes are not good food. Try pellets instead.
