I found this highly entertaining. I've never been able to bowl my Karasu koi before, because he's incredibly elusive. Fast swimmer, and disappears from sight without even trying. But when I saw some suspicious white spots on him, I was extra determined, and somehow managed to catch him! After a close-up inspection and some photo opportunities, we were ready to set him free, but.... HE WASN'T. My husband had the bowl completely open into the water, and Bigger Blacker Fish just stayed in it for several minutes. Enjoy!

It was sweet how Frank (the world-famous Chagoi) kept going up to check on him. "Hey buddy. You coming back out, or what??"
