Fish Nibbling on Water Lilies?

These look like bite marks on my lily pads. I'm fairly new at this. Do fish eat lily pads? I feed them but wondering if they are nibbling on my pads. Any information appreciated.

Yeah, fish will nibble on lily pads (or other plants) and the little bits of algae that grow on them. Plus, lily pads naturally fade over time & as they get softer they are more easily damaged.
