Hello! I moved some duckweed into a planter and now have several tadpoles or fry. Is anyone able to tell the difference between the two please?

Thank you. I appreciate your input.

Some insects are "normal" or desirable, as are their larva. Dragonfly larva for example are normal.

I've got quite a few water striders and backswimmers. The backswimmer, if a mosquito larva gets close enough, will attack it, and is more vicious than you'd think.

I watched “some type of insect larva” attack and destroy a tadpole once! It was vicious, and like when you watch a nature film, but have to remind yourself that it’s the circle of life.

I would wait and see what it turns into.
Might be something nice! Doesn't look like mosquito larvae to me.
