Fish vet survey

Doing a survey to see how many members can go to their vets for fish problems.
Please let us know if you have a vet who treats fish. Also, how far away are they?

Nope! Closet vet is 200 miles away. Too far to be of any help.

I honestly don't know. There is a local vet, who treats exotics , so thinking that could be an option.

No, and I have no idea if we have any aquatic vets here -- have never looked into it. However, LSU in Baton Rouge has an excellent veterinary program -- if there was anyone, it would be there. About a 4 hr. drive from here, so doubt I'd go to the effort.

Nope. Mammals (large and small), birds, reptiles - but not fish!

I have an exotics vet about a mile away from me (she has treated my rabbits and guinea pigs) never used her services for a fish but she does keep saltwater tanks and did tell me she would be willing to treat fish if needed.

I would consider taking a fish for treatment if it was a special fish to me.
