flat worms

My waterfall rock suddenly has these tiny flat creatures about 1/8" stuck to it.
The best way to describe them is like a squished tadpole. They have a head which is upstream to the flow with a small tail flap. What the heck is that?

No clue what they are called, but had them on my wet rocks in arizona. I have not seen any here yet.

I think they may be these:

Flat Worms (Turbellaria)

Freshwater flatworms are identified by their soft, elongate, and flattened bodies, with a triangular “head” formed by a slight restriction of the body and often 2 eyespots that give the animal a cross-eyed appearance. The body is not segmented and ranges in length from

Interesting that they appeared right after my power outage/filter death. Although I did check ammonia just 2 days ago and it was at either the lowest or second lowest level, so the filter must have dramatically recovered already. I did seed the water with bacteria powder.

Sounds like they could be normal and harmless for the most part.

It's just that I have to know if I can find out what something is..............I think I'm a bit obsessive compulsive on certain things........can't help myself..........I need to know and I drive my hubby crazy w/ asking questions that he has no idea what the answer is so onward I go to the great oz hidden in the computer box :rolleyes:
