Hi All
I was seeking some advice regarding hose sizes.
I have a Hozelock Ecopower 10000 filter to install and the inlet and outlet connections for the filter are 40mm. All of my additional fitting (pump horsetail, elbows, reducer etc.) are 38mm. I'm looking at using flexihose and wandering should I use 40mm hose or 38mm hose?
Would it be easier to put the 38mm in warm water to fit the 40mm fittings or maybe build up the 38mm fittings with PTFE plumbers tape to give a snug fit on a 40mm hose?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated before I purchase the flexi hose
Many thanks
Ian
