Hi-

You may think me crazy, but last night I had a dream that my new flexible liner got holes in it everywhere I touched it. While I know it's just a dream, I'm sure it stems from all the warnings I have heard regarding tearing the liner. How hard is it really to tear a liner?

I have that question too...
How long does it usually last for 0.2 mm vs. 0.4 mm? Are they UV protected?
thanks!

Being an American Engineer, I don't work or play well with metric. That said, -2mm is only .007" in and .4mm is .015". I can't imagine why anyone would use material this thin.

Firestone EPDM is .045" thick (which is greater than 1mm) has a 50 year lifespan when used on a rooftop as roofing, has UV protection, and is practically punctureproof. That said, I wouldn't put sharp rocks in my pond then walk on them, nor would I put it down without a layer of sand over the dirt.

I am willing to bet it will be around long after you are gone.

I would not consider anything else, even if it was given to me.
