Hello
I have a year old pond in Florida. It has convict cichlids . I currently have floating plastic water lillies (yuk) and wanted to add some planted small pond plants that will grow 2 or 3 feet above water level (pond 3 feet deep).
Not looking for seasonal type plants .

The pond is bare bottom (other than driftwood and inverted pots for the fish)and I prefer to plant the plants in pots .

Temp is roughly 80s during summer and high 70s in winter . New water is added daily or ever other day . Pond gets direct sunlight roughly 80% of it

Any suggestions as to plant type to look into?

thank you

Louie

Hey there! I am also in Florida. May I follow you, and occasionally ask stupid questions?
