Can the Fluval FX6 filter be used outside for small pond in the spring and summer?

I haven't called. I tried looking it up but not finding it..
I have a 100 gallon fish tank that we used it in but I am getting rid of tank but wanted to keep filter for our pond

It might be ok, but you would need to protect it from the weather. I had a fluval, good filters , way to small for my pond set up
