Gosh, I sure hope my Parrot Feather survives the winter !

Me, too @Tula ! It grew beautifully in the pond, and I have it rooted in pots that should be below the ice so fingers crossed!

(If not, I bet I know where we can get more! ;))

The stuff I have in a shallow, fishless pond came back beautifully. It is not rooted by me, but rooted by itself in the bottom of the pond, about 18 inches down. Did not die over winter even with the pond freezing over.
The Red stem in the hot tub pond, never thought it would survive. It also came back even with freezing for a few months.

I also have a different variety, in my stream pond, shallow pond, about a foot (fishless) it to came back. That one freezes solid sometimes.

I put the roots of a big bunch in a netted bag and slung it over the side of the pond and I have several planted in the bog's gravel.
