So I bought some UV bulbs on ebay on the cheap. I wasn't really seeing a difference in the algae and I was talking with a local ponder and he mentioned changing bulbs. I ordered some new "better bulbs" placing them side by side and my new bulb is twice as bright.

I don't use uv's, but my dad always told me buy the best you can afford, you won't regret it.

never used uv's either but i hear a lot on here buy there's from e- bay .I just figure like anything they are the same ,just like LED bulbs and CFL bulbs
