Well as some of you know about the project I have been doing at my parents house. I made all the upper cabinet boxes with maple plywood and pocket holes and mounted the faces. I put on all the stiles and rails on the lower cabinets. We have the wood installed under the breakfast bar and cut the piece of cypress for the breakfast bar with a log support post. I put on one knob, the rest will be here by Monday. I believe the granite is installed this coming Thursday. There are 2 large cabinet doors not seen in the pics, under where the sink will go, which is not cut out yet. I still have to make the cabinet sides where needed and that will almost wrap that up. Not bad for my first custom kitchen project.
In this pic I had to make the doors over the microwave smaller then what I had aready made (opps by my dad with the measurement). It was not to bad to do but wanted it right.
Here is the cypress, this is not mounted yet just cut, which one of my cabinet faces below. If you notice the seem on the wall, we will make a small post to hide that with a small corner shelf unit against my cabinet. The shelves will be out of cypress.
