do you test for GH ? mine always reads 10 ... is this too high ? i live in a hard water area ... and can anyone tell me what harm it does to fish if it goes too high ... thanks all rofile:

Koi and Goldies like "moderately hard" water. Anything over 8 should be fine. Also... hardness helps buffer PH!

In 41 years of ponding I have never tested for GH. Have I lost fish due to quality of the water? Never...
