I hope it's ok for me to unload a couple questions at once here. This is the first year that I've pulled fry out of my pond (maybe not my best idea, but now I love themo_O:LOL:) most of them will be rehomed when they're bigger but a few I'm keeping in a container pond on my deck (my single tails popped out a couple fantail babies). So, (1) when do I pull them inside for the winter? I'm in lower TN. (2) this may be crazy but when I pull them inside can they share a tank with my Betta? I've got limited tank space and the area I really want to out them can't fit a tank for them and the Betta separately. (3) I will be taking vacation in a few weeks for 5 days. I feel ok about the big guys in the pond, but like I said I've never kept fry. Will they be ok with a vacation feeder block? They are in a container with parrots feather and hyacinth they nibble on some. I would say they are 1-3ish months in age, some are tiny and a few are almost big enough I think to go to the big pond.

Sorry missed this post.

With the plants they probably do not need a feeder block.
Not sure about sharing with a beta, you would probably be safer putting back in the big pond.
