Hi I still fairly new to the pond thing and I've been ticking along nicely I thought but today I found one of my fish has a big spot on its side. It looks just like a really big spot marked in green on photo. There may be two others either new or old marked in yellow on the same side. Fish is happy eating not scratching not hiding it anything.
All water parameters are and have been for the past ten months absolutely perfect and consistent. Nothing has changed recently except for a few growth balls for the plants.
Any help appreciated.

Did you read the article? Basically, it is everywhere. Some fish are more genetically inclined to become infected than are others. It tends to come and go with water temperature changes (it will show up in cold water/weather, and improve in warmer water/weather.). There is no cure, but it’s also not life-threatening.

Thank you. I did read it. But our water has been warm and getting warmer and there were no signs of this in cold weather at all and none of the other fish have anything. I'm not saying it's not it I just wanted to ask the question.
