Anyone know whats wrong with this goldfish? Looks like some kind of eye infection. Got him this way. All the others are fine. I have him isolated right now. I want to treat him. Any help will be appreciated.

I hope you don't mean isolated in a cup - haha!

Do you have a pond @eddie209 ? I may have missed some of your earlier posts - forgive me if I did! Where did you get this poor guy from? Is he otherwise seeming normal - eating and swimming?

I don't know much about fish health - hopefully someone else will pop in here with some ideas.

Yes I have a pond. 700 gallon above ground. I haven't made any updated post since I started, I will do that soon. I got the fish from Blackwater Creek Koi Farm. I got the large pack of Goldfish Peanuts (155 goldfish). Kind of a mystery, you really don't know what you will end up with. The fish arrived today, and I found the injured fish within a few minutes after adding the fish. I had him in a cup while I got a better QT tank for him. When I got home saw that he jumped back into the pond. Wont be able to find him in the morning. I am hoping he got injured during shipping, and not a eye fungus.

155 fish in 700 gallons? That's a lot of fish! You needed about 4. Sorry - not trying to rain on your parade, but you've got way too many fish!

I know, they are all about one inch or less. When they show there colors and get a little bigger, probably around spring. We will choose the one we like and get rid of the rest.

Hi Eddie. that sounds like a really interesting way to go by buying so many peanuts. Typically the viability of that group of fish can be pretty low. You want to remove any sick fish as soon as possible to keep the other fish healthy. Unfortunately when you have so many other fish it doesn't make sense to put your resources into a sick one so my vote would be to remove him. The healthiest ones will probably be the best suited for long term survival in your pond... ie. survival of the fittest!
