Well, we have started to build our filter and and just need to test to make sure the seals hold before we install it. It is a 50 gallon stock tank that will be a skippy filter in our waterfall. Can't wait to see it in action (and the clear water). Also, got a wet/dry shop vac (9 gallon) from Home Depot yesterday so now I can suck the junk out of the bottom of the pond. It was on sale for $20!

just tried it out. Works great, fills up quick but if the drum were any larger it would be too heavy to manage. The perfect water changing goody!

We got most of the filter constructed but ran into some leaky seals so there is no way it is getting installed this weekend :) At least we got started on it but I want to be sure there are NO LEAKS before we install it and build the waterfall around it. :banghead3:
