Visited the water garden store today for some plant shopping. Got an umbrella palm, 4 leaf water clover, and a corkscrew rush. Also some free unintended but welcomed plants like more azolla and foxtail which were attached to the container. I spent the last of my weekly pay but the pond does look nice.

The umbrella palm had a little plantlet attached. I clipped it from the parent plant and potted it separately.

Very nice! I like both the corkscrew rush and the umbrella palm a lot!

looking good!
At the end of the season I take a clipping of my Umbrella Palm and keep it in water in my kitchen, by Spring time the little clipping has turned into 2 beautiful full plants, ready for the pond and absolutely free. I save the Canna Lily, the Black Taro as well, so the cost of plants is really not that bad :)
