Hi guys

I have had my pond for a few months and really enjoy it' i built the pond around the filter but I'm really not impressed with it so far.

Its should support a flow of 9000 lph my pump is well over size.... but was wondering if i was to create another outlet would i be able to shift more water through it.

If i run my pump to fast it spills over the edge at the moment.

Just a thought if you have any other ideas which will increase flow please let me no

if you want more flow use the next size up pipe.
when I first used my vortex filter I put a 400 gph pump for winter and a 750gph in summer. As I have 4 inch pipe inlets and outlets I adjust the flow by filter media density.

You can add a splitter .It could be a barbed splitter with a ball valve on the end to slow water down to the filter or to the outlet into the pond .I did mine with 1 1/2 inch pvc
