I'm running a 3000ish gallon pond through an Oase FiltoClear UVC 8000. Installed the filter about a month ago, did a great job of clearing up the green water, and I've been squeezing and flushing the filters once a week since installation. I was out visiting the fish this morning and noticed a bit of green buildup inside the clear tube on the filter outlet. Is this normal?

I looked at the filter online. It looks like you are getting a little algae inside the clear plastic tube. As long as it's not blocking the water flow , its fine. Not sure why they use clear tubing.

Welcome to our group.

Maybe wrap the clear tube with some pipe insulation stuff. Water and sun = nice growing green stuff
