been perving a bit before i signed up. Been working on my inherited pond was gf's now wife's grand fathers we inherited and moved from pa to nj due to his passing. very few modifications so far as we are slowly getting it they way we want while trying to keep him with us. mainly added a stream new pump and added plants been going good for 8 years ish now at about 7,000 gallons and just recently added and active bog filter waitting on the plants to take over. so far so good and the pond is clearer then her grandfather ever had it.

i am nj she is from springfield pa. we have different fish golds, comets, shobokin (sp) and koi about 25 total unfortunately not her grand fathers. heroin and a early leaf fall killed most of what we rescued. working on more rocks as all the rocks except gravel are her grandfathers.

seems that way checked many of fourms before i picked one. seems this one is nice diy friendly and wouldnt judge to much. as my wifes grandfathers pond is still a work in progress. want to get it right before we spend real $$.

so far mine keeps it clean i just wish i have thought sooner for a cleaning. next year right?
