I'm seeking general advice from anyone with knowledge regarding grading. Specifically, dealing with slopes and surface drainage. I can supply all the images needed. While removing the pond it was also time to replace our rear of property 24" high retaining wall. The new one is up so need to ensure the recovered yard is accordingly graded.

Thanks in advance.

Post some (a lot) of photos.
Meyer,
Thank you for your offer to help but an engineer friend plus a drainage specialist from our city are to help determine the best course of action. I plan to post a pictorial timeline of our ponds transformation back to lawn. Sir, you have always been a true credit to the pounding community.

Having Knowledgeable people that are able to do an on-site inspection and determination is certainly enormously better than relying on an old goat sitting behind a computer keyboard a few hundred miles away.
Thanks for the compliment.
