okay, I was just being a smart-a**l ; an answer that is more helpful is to take a toilet brush and swirl it out. That's what most people do. Now, going further, many that have bogs with lots of plants, don't have the 'string' algae very long if at all (me; never had it since the first couple of years). They say barley extract will help keep it in submission, but it's only anecdotal evidence. The idea is to have other plants that will outcompete it.

Here's a good article on using Hydrogen Peroxide for string algae: https://watergardenadvice.com/hydrogen-peroxide-pond-algae/
I would first pull out any by hand/brush and be sure to remove the stuff that is dead as it can foul up your water when it dies.
