Hi guys,
I am brand new to the forum but am hoping you can provide the best solution to my problem.
I am new to building ponds but decided to build one 9mX8mX1m deep.
Then i decided to build a small 2mX4m jetty just sitting on the pond. I laid the liner and foolishly cut a hole in the liner to fit the jetty posts and then filled in the gaps with liner and underwater sealer. TO cut the story short the water just gradually dropped till there was not much left.
I am in the process of fixing this and would like some suggestions as to what might be the best way to fix this problem? My solution was to repatch a new liner for each of the jetty posts by filling the hole with liner , cementing the posts and then using double sided tape and primer to join the new liner to the existing liner? Do you think this would stop the leak??
Thanks
Dan
