Hello to everyone from Tucson, AZ. I've had a small backyard pond for about five years now with a Koi and some minnows. Over the summer I accidentally killed the four year old koi trying to treat an particularly bad algae bloom. Brought the oxygen down way too low :banana:. Anyway, I took the opportunity to rebuild it and make some changes to it that I had thought about over the years. I'll get some pics posted soon. Looking forward to using the site for advice and questions.

Here are some pics I took last night after cleaning the filters and feeding the fish. During the summer I have to add about 10-20 gallons of water every few days because of evaporation!
