I love gardening and have just begun to add water to my yard. Although I dream of the Waterfall, stream, and large pond, I wanted to start small with just a container pond/goldfish on my deck first. I hope to learn from the knowledge all of you have to guide me.

Hello and welcome to our group. Either read along or ask questions (if you know at this point what you want to ask...) and we'll do our best to help. Got a good number of folks on here from the South.

Welcome! If you are starting out with goldfish just add one or two right off the bat until your pond acclimates (cycles) so the waste is processed by good bacteria that builds up. It takes time for that to happen.
