I am located just outside of Toronto in the small city of Oshawa. This is my second year in having a pond in my backyard. My first year was a very tedious one with the loss of some fish and lots algae. This year I hoping will be different. My pond has gone through many upgrades and expansions already this year. I'm hoping with the addition of a diy Skippy filter and a new pump that the algae problem will a thing of the past. This past week I dug the lower half of the pond deeper in order to leave the fish in year round. Lastly yesterday we put our 7 goldfish back into the pond. They were very happy.
