Hi! So glad to find this forum! We inherited two koi ponds when we bought our house 5 years ago. at first I didnt think much of it but when the first winter came around in good olde canada and the first pond sprung a leak (plastic liner in soil bed) I knew I was in for a fun ride.
We managed to keep one of the two ponds (we filled in the one that sprung a leak as it was directly under a rapidly growing tree and roots were puncturing the lining).
Our one little pond is beside the house and gets allot of sun. Weve had a different variety of fish some koi some goldies and find the "feeder fish" are the best.
Looking forward to searching the vast knowledge here on the site!
