Hello!

I just built my first little pond from a preform 100gallon liner, and a 20gallon bin (for the bog).

The liner actually was installed under a beauty bush, in the shade, when we bought the house.... Nothing but a mini fountain... It got gross and we pulled it.

Its just above ground as this is more of a trial run....
Id love to build a much bigger 1000+ gallon pond. Mainly to allow for "wildlife" photography

But figured i should play with a smll pond for a year or two before I commit to something big!

This is!

Between the blooms and the leafs it drops, makes bit of a mess. But they smell and look.... Beautiful!

We also added 4 shubunkin and 8 feeder goldfish. They seem to be enjoying their new home!

Well be putting some netting over to prevent birds, cats, or racoons, from helping themselves.

Oh, I think I know what that is! I think it’s called an American Beautyberry bush! They are native and grow wild here in the south. I had a volunteer a few years ago, but had to sacrifice it.
