Hello from Tidewater VA

Hello, my name is Paul and I live in Tidewater Virginia. I am in the planning phase of upgrading from a 50 gallon garden pond with goldfish that I've had for the last 6 years to a pond of roughly 400 gallons with a bog filter. I am trying to learn all I can about bog filter design and came across addy1's bog building thread. I have some questions and so figured it was time to introduce myself.

lol not a total expert, but have used them for years on multiple ponds. Love the ease of care with my ponds due to the bog, upflow gravel filter, plant filter..............what ever you want to call it. i can turn the pond on in the spring and ignore it.
